Classes

Classes are offered twice a year. The Fall session runs from August to November, and Spring session runs from January to April. Each session consists of 10 to 12 classes, with one hour long class per week.

This page provides details about classes, when and where Volunteer Training / Parent Orientation will be held, and Physical address of various library locations where the program is held.

  • First Class: A diagnostics class, in which each student is individually evaluated to determine their Math proficiency, and is then placed at the appropriate level. Note: this is a highly individualized program, and every student progresses at their own pace.
  • Last Class: Divided into two parts – First part is the regular class followed by Math games including Math Bingo!
  • No Class Days: Specific to each section / location. This information is provided individually after your child is accepted to the program.
  • Volunteer Reporting: All volunteers are required to report 30 minutes before the class and stay for 30 minutes after the class.
